Paul Simon spent 18 years running yachts before he began selling them. Every listing, survey, and sea trial benefits from a career at the helm.
Paul is a sales broker at Fraser, the largest and longest-established full-service yacht brokerage in the world. Every listing reaches Fraser’s global buyer network. Every buyer taps its market intelligence.

Most brokers learned yachts from a desk. Paul learned them from the helm, the engine room, and the shipyard floor. Raised in Michigan’s boating culture, he built a marine maintenance business while still in school, then spent 18 years as a licensed captain on both the East and West Coasts, running yachts around the world.
He has managed major refits on large vessels as project manager, which means he reads a survey report the way an owner wishes every broker could: knowing what matters, what it costs, and what to walk away from.
Today he brings that experience to Fraser Yachts, the world’s largest and longest-established full-service yacht brokerage, from its San Diego office on Harbor Drive.
For sellers: your yacht is not marketed to one marina, it is presented to qualified buyers on every continent through Fraser’s global network and brand, trusted since 1947. Learn how Paul sells yachts, starting with a free market appraisal.
For buyers: market intelligence on every comparable vessel, honest guidance through survey and sea trial, and in-house expertise across sales, charter, management, and new construction, all in one relationship.

Plan a PassageMatching the right vessel to the right owner is not a transaction. It is the beginning of a voyage, and I have spent my whole life preparing to guide it.Paul Simon · Sales Broker, Fraser Yachts San Diego
